Blues for the Modern Daze is an album by American blues rock musician Walter Trout, focussing more on the 'traditional' blues, and taking a more straightforward approach to songwriting. The album reached #1 on the UK Jazz & Blues Chart and #4 on the Billboard Blues Chart. It was produced by Trout himself together with Grammy-nominated producer Eric Corne. Some of the highlights on this album include the tracks 'Saw My Mama Cryin', 'The Sky Is Fallin' Down' and 'Pray For Rain'.

Blues for the Modern Daze is available as a limited edition of 1000 numbered copies of purple colored marbled vinyl. It is housed in a gatefold sleeve and includes a 4-page booklet with lyrics.
